The SMART Foundation advances existing
inclusive operations and establishes new initiatives, while
maintaining the flexibility to adapt to changing needs of
children and families struggling with Autism. The Foundation
combines a needs-based approach with common sense parent,
professional and community collaboration to overcome
bureaucracies and other challenges, while providing equal
access to quality care for all children, regardless of their
developmental, psychological, sociological and physical
needs or challenges. |

The Foundation distinguishes itself through a
distinctive collaboration and inventive approach to both
programming and fundraising. We recognize that geography, in
addition to economics, impacts the availability and
accessibility of needed care and resources. These needs and
challenges recognize no town; county or state lines and
therefore those same lines should not limit the efforts or
compassion of the willing. Our goal is to make sure no child
or parent will ever hear: "We
don't have the time, resources or expertise to help". |
